I am very homesick at the moment. Due to the Canada/USA border closure for COVID-19, I haven’t been to my homeland of Southern California or seen my family in over a year. The longest I went prior to this was 3 months! But if there’s one thing that can make me feel a little better, it’s food from my native land (HAHA).
I love Del Taco, I always have and always will! I grew up about 30 minutes from the original Del Taco in Barstow, California and if you are ever driving to Las Vegas from Southern California, you HAVE to stop there. It’s a whole experience! Anyway, I have fond memories of Del Taco and I never thought I’d be in a position that I need to recreate the food… but here we are! Desperate times!
If you are also a homesick Californian, let me know if this helps and if you have suggestions on something for me to make next! Check out my following post where I make Del Taco’s Chicken Soft Tacos! Enjoy!
