Breakfast Pizza is the best way to start your day, especially on the weekends! I love making this for my family on Sunday’s and just relaxing while its in the oven. It’s so cheesy, salty and delicious. The whole family will love this recipe!
Did your family order from the Schwan’s Trucks in the ’90’s – 2000’s? This is where I got the inspiration for this Breakfast Pizza. Their version of breakfast pizza is similar to my recipe but it was served in individual pizzas that you could microwave. I have heard that there is a sister company that makes these for the regular grocery store but only in certain states!
My mom would order from Schwann’s every other week, my sisters and I would go crazy with excitement when our delivery showed up. They had the best popsicles, ice creams, pizzas and frozen snacks. Schwann’s was definitely ahead of their time and the food was really good!
To make it easier and cut some time, I used store bought pizza dough. Feel free to make your own, I just prefer everything to be ready to assemble so I can get it in the oven as soon as I can. The pizza only needs about 15 minutes to bake and I like to serve it with a side of fruit to even out the saltiness.
Give this a try and let me know how you like it! Enjoy!
