Lavender Lemonade is the best relaxing Summer beverage you can make. It’s floral and sweet, like a breath of fresh air in June.
Pairing Lavender and Lemons together is something I learned when I was a bartender in a high-end restaurant. We used to make Lavender Lemon Drop Martinis that were so refreshing and delightful. This Lavender Lemonade is just as refreshing and delightful but with no booze so you can enjoy any day of the week. You certainly can add vodka to make a delicious adult beverage if you choose to!
I absolutely love the color of the lavender simple syrup when mixed with lemon, the acid reacts with the flowers to make the most beautiful hue of baby lavender. Some recipes will call for food coloring but I really don’t understand why, when made the correct way, the color on its own is stunning and special.
Enjoy this Lavender Lemonade with ice and pour it into a wine glass if you want to feel fancy! The color will illuminate the glass and elevate your mood instantly. Enjoy!
