  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Garlic Clove Crushed
  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper Fresh cracked
  • ¼ tsp Crushed Red Pepper Optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Add 6 pats of butter spaced out on the parchment.
  • Top each butter pat with onions and tomatoes. Sprinkle with garlic salt, pepper and a few dashes of Worcestershire to each pile.
  • Smash a ground beef ball into the pile and flatted with a metal spatula. Sprinkle some salt and add blue cheese directly onto the burger.
  • Cover each burger with a puff pastry square and gently shape the dough to conform to the burger. Using a fork, crimp the edges of the dough. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle lightly with salt.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, the puff pastry will be golden brown and risen.

Mix mayonnaise, olive oil, garlic, black pepper and red pepper flakes until well combined. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Using a metal or thin spatula, scrape the bottom of the pastry and flip over ensuring all the components are intact and in place. Broil on low for 2-3 minutes just to char the top a little.
  • Drizzle with aioli and enjoy!
