This is my favorite air fryer “hack”.
I kind of feel like I shouldn’t give up my secrets like this and just keep it to myself…. but that would be selfish and the world needs to know. See? I’m a giving person 🙂
The best way to airfry chicken wings is to coat them in baking powder. There it is. LIFE CHANGING.
It adds a thin crunchy layer and crisps up the skin perfectly. Just toss with oil, salt, pepper and the baking powder and the prep is done.

Super Crispy Airfried Chicken Wings

Ingredients
- 20-24 chicken wings
- 3 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp pepper
- 2-4 tbsp baking powder, enough to coat
- Your favorite wing sauce and garnishes
Directions
- Step 1
- In a large bowl, add the raw chicken, oil, salt and pepper and mix well.
- Step 2
- Add the baking powder and stir again ensuring the wings are evening coated.
- Step 3
- Place the wings in a single layer in your airfryer.
- Step 4
- Airfry for 20-25 minutes at 400 degrees, or until crispy.
- Step 5
- Toss the wings with your favourite sauce: I used green onions, Okazu Curry Miso sauce and black sesame seeds.
- Step 6
- Serve immediately.
